![]() If you DO decide to go with them, only work with her. ![]() This place is a puppy mill that will lie vehemently to make a sale.Īlso worth noting that the assistant manager has already spoken to me about this and was very professional with mine and my husbands feedback. I have also consulted with an attorney and he feels we would have a VERY strong case. Want proof? I have receipts and a letter from my vet in the event that I should choose to take legal action, as these dogs were purchased under false pretenses. She also identified several other issues that indicate that they were taken from their mother WAY too early and is honestly surprised they have lived this long. Needless to say my veterinarian was appalled. Somehow they must have missed how much he screams after eating the food they were giving him. Heres all that hes had:Īllergies to almost every everything (I was promised that he showed no signs at all of any allergies.) We found out he had allergies the night we brought him home and fed him. Shes been so neglected and abused that we have to force feed her with a syringe. She is refusing any and all training, and refusing food. The first time she bit me was the moment we came into the apartment. I got the dog and she not only had kennel cough, but also parasites, worms, an additional respiratory infection, and intestinal issues. I was promised that shed been an angel, very social, very gentle, very sweet, and in great health. They also lie, to your face, about behavior and health. They will not, under any circumstances, take back a dog due to behavior. Not that we would EVER consider putting ANYTHING in that.animal hell. Now, heres the reason for this negative review. That is the quality of puppy that they give. This dog has bit me 15 times in 48 hours. Were at over $2000.00 in medical expenses and professional trainers (all of whom said she was very obviously neglected and most likely physically abused due to her health and behavior). So maybe we just got a fluke puppy but I still will never trust this place and question where our pup came from. We are even taking our little girl to meet her sister tomorrow. I also want to say that in a remarkable coincidence while at a pet food retailer we found her sister/littermate! Her owner told us that her sister is in overall good health but has the same umbilical hernia problems. UPDATE: Our puppy we purchased here had her spay and cherry eye surgery and our vet even went and fully repaired her umbilical hernia for free which whoever the breeder or PetCity used did NOT repair correctly! To sum it up great experience with their cats but for dogs - look elsewhere! They were all in good health upon purchase and to this day they are in great health- even the 9 year old. A Maine Coon, Black & white medium hair, and Tortie respectively. I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1 because my family has owned 3 cats from this location purchased in 2004, 2009, and 2012. Know what you are getting - GO TO A REPUTABLE BREEDER OR SHELTER - Both actually check their pups health BEFORE they go to a family. Our purebred Corgi was half the price of her purchased from a breeder in-state. For the same price we paid for her, we had our pure bred miniature wiener dog flown in and he included food, crate, care manual, and akc papers. I love our puppy that came from the store but after all of her problems, I will never buy another dog from a pet store. Both are magnificently tempered and smart, in addition to having flawless health so far. We also have another two puppies that each came from private breeders. Their contract they have you sign pretty much says sorry tough luck for anything other than mild medication and death. Of course we didnt want to take her back, shes already part of our family and we love her. It is to the point where the term puppy mill is thrown around in our house in regards to her. On top of that we found out that the reason she was so stinky even after getting a bath was that she had yeast infection in her ears, so we have to medicate her ears too. She was also diagnosed with kennel cough and had to go on medication for that. We took her to her free check up the next day and the vet was unable to pop the eye tissue back in so now we need to get her surgery to fix it, for now she has prescribed eye drops we use until shes old enough for the surgery. And 2 days after bringing her home she developed cherry eye in one of her eyes. The puppy seemed healthy at the time but when we got her home there was coughing. The staff was nice and seemed knowledgeable. ![]() We got a Lhasa - Poodle mix from this location back in December.
